Habang ang lahat ng tao (ex-kalai at other dorm people) ay naghihintay sa paglabas ng results ng dorm application, napagisip-isip kong i-kontak ang OSH para mag-inquire sa status ng application ko. Sinubukan kong i-email ang OSH. Oo na, aamin kong desperado akong makapasok sa dorm. Eto: May 24, 2008

I am Christian James A. Nazareth, an incoming sophomore taking up BS Biology in UP Diliman. I have sent my application for a dormitory slot at Yakal Residence Hall. I come all the way from General Santos City, South Cotabato. With this remark, it is my dire need and desire to be able to secure a slot in a UP Dorm (particularly in Yakal). I would like to inquire regarding my application status so that I will know what to would do when I arrive at UP diliman before enrollment. I do not have any relatives in Manila and neither do I have any other place to stay except in a UP Dormitory.

Dalawang araw din akong naghintay, akala ko hindi na magrereply. Pero kanina, after kong magpa-dentist, binuksan ko ang yahoomail ko at boom! nagreply! in the person of someone named MR MARQUINA. Eto ang reply:
Mr Nazareth,
We know you are from a far place and I presume you submitted your
application form after April 14 deadline so you're late.
Late applicants will be deliberated after May 30 and you have a
slim chance of being accepted in the dorm. May we advise you that
if you dont have a place to stay with, we have list of boarding
houses that are available for you to choose from. Also, you
can ask for a reconsideration as transient while you are looking for a place to stay before the start of the semester. Address your
letter to Dr. Ruby G. Alcantara, OIC-Office of Student Housing,
UP Diliman.

POTEK! ito ang unang lumabas sa aking bibig na naglalaway pa dahil
sa sakit na dulot ng dentista ko. Ang problema ko kasi, hindi ako sure
kung late yung pagpass ko. Kasi, pina-LBC ko lang. Saturday ko yun
pinadala (April 12) tas sabi ng LBC guy, moday daw darating ang forms.
Meaning, ON-TIME pa yun. di ko naman alam kung anong nangyari sa
forms na yun... kung na-late man, kasalanan ng LBC. in that case, LBC
ang magproprovide sa akin ng boarding haws. haha.
