OK. (in connection with my previous blog re: Hell of a summer in gensan, yes, I watched the movie alone..again! putek! it's now three movies in a row!) So I watched pirates... the STANDING-ROOM-because-everyone-else-is-talking-about-it MOVIE. Dang! I expected a lot from the last movie of the "greaaat" trilogy... But sad to say, I was rather disappointed. Sure, there's this wonderfully and marvelously good special effects, cinematography, casting, and all other whatevers for a typical box-office hit movie. The one element that caused my disappointment from the movie was.... its STORY LINE. It was a mess! It was all wrecked and sewn in tupsy-turvy. As the movie progressess, its complexity becomes more complex (ahahaha! bago yun ah! complex complexity!) There were loads of twists and turns. It was so whatever that in the end, my face was like : BLANK!
Even though I was perplexed by the movie's complexity... I uncovered the secret behind the Pirates of the Carribean 3. The true essence of the Movie... The story behind it all! Yes, and I will reveal it in this blog! And you're lucky because you're reading this now! Just promise me one thing... Don't ever tell anyone what you will know because the Pirates of the Carribean producers would sue me if they found out it unveiled their secret and posted it in this blog. Because they intend that people must discover this secret by themselves. So here it is... are you ready? Really? Ok, Enough of this crap! The story behind Pirates of the Carribean 3 is... ANG ALAMAT NG CRABS (The origin of Crabs) Yes, you've read it right... It's about the origin of those diabolic and devlish crabs that sliced my finger while we were in Costa! The Alamat of the crabs started ever since Part I- the curse of the black pearl and so as with Part II-the Dead Man's chest. During the time when great pirate voyages were rampant, there were no crabs at all, only stone demons- which, is an ancestor of the crabs. They are white and round... When they wake up, these stone demons have features similar to that of the modern-day crabs. They have this bi-valves that can slice anyone...they have these antenna eyes...and those creepy "spider-like" legs. However, they spend there lives more of as a stone. They only become "alive" when a great Goddess will summon them. These ancestral stone demons can be best seen in the movie when Calibso called upon them to help witty Jack move the Black Pearl. So what's it connection with the Alamat ng crabs? NOTHING! It's just that they have thesame features with that of a crab. OK, so the events in the first two pirate movies were perfectly planned so that the birth of crabs will come! I mean, the meeting of all the characters, the conflict between pirates and the long-haired guys (are those french people?), Davy Jones, Calibso, Elizabeth Schwan, everything! It was a great divine plan for the crabs. So, In the third movie, in the scence when the pirate lords released Calibso from her human imprisonment, (By the way, I was so amazed to see a black goddess! firts time in the history of movies! she was like those dolls called Cabbage Patch!) the goddess, knowing that Davy Jones betrayed her, was sooo angry!!!! She was soo pissed that she disintegrated into tiny, hard, "shelly" sea-animal... And that was the birth of these creatures! TEEDAN! and that was the alamat of the crabs- the secret behind the pirates of the carribean 3 movie! yoohoo!
-THE END-
By the way, they named it CRABS because it rhymes with CALIBSO (Crap! I'm getting really stupid!)
